PCB's are produced by replacing hydrogen atoms in biphenyl with chlorine and are poisonous environmental pollutants which tend to accumulate in animal tissues just like Lindane does. PCB's are in the same class of organic pollutants as Lindane and DDT. Most all of the symptoms and or characteristics that Lindane has on the body exist when PCB's are involved also due to their very similar chemical properties. PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl) is a term that will describe any of several compounds. If you have a question concerning one of these please reply and I'll do my best to answer your question.
